If you're aged over 70 years of age you will be entitled to free insulation.

*List of Applicable Benefits

• Council Tax benefit
• Housing benefit
• Income Support
• Income-based Job Seekers Allowance
• Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
• Attendance Allowance
• Disability Living Allowance
• War Disablement Pension (which includes either Mobility Supplement or Constant Attendance Allowance)
• Disablement Pension (which includes Constant Attendance Allowance)
• State Pension Credit

or
Is in receipt of at least one of the following credits:

• Child Tax Credit where the relevant income is £16,190 or less
• Working Tax Credit where the relevant income is £16,190 or less

or

• a) Child Tax Credit and has the a relevant income below £16,190 (where "e;relevant income"e; has the same meaning as in Part 1 of the Tax Credits Act 2002 (1))
• b) Income-related Employment and Support Allowance, which must include a work-related activity or support component, and
• i. Has the parental responsibility for a child under the age of five who ordinarily resides with that member†

• ii. Is in receipt of a qualifying component ‡

• III. Cold weather payment benefit letter for current heating season if neither of the above are available

• III. A disability premium, enhanced disability premium or severe disability premium
• IV. A pensioner premium, higher pensioner premium or enhanced pensioner premium
